Seal Beach Christmas Parade - Assemble with the other greyhounds on the south side of the pier between 6:15 & 6:45 PM. The parade route goes aprox 4 blocks on main street of Seal Beach. Park on the residential area on the inland side of PCH. This is an evening event so your greyhound might want to wear a coat or Christmas attire.

Belmont Shores - Long Beach Christmas Parade - Please join The Friends of Long Beach Animals to show off our Greyhounds in this very popular parade, it usually has an attendance of 30,000 viewers plus is filled for cable TV. This is a great opportunity to show off your Greyounds in festive Holiday outfits and promote their adoption. The parade is very loud and busy so shy dogs should wait at home and watch the parade on TV. Parade begins at 6PM. For more information you can call Lynn Bartos (562) 597-9212.

GPA OC/GLA Annual Holiday Party - New location this year. We have found a new and more friendly (warmer) location in the DeMolay Room at 303 West Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim 92805. This is the perfect locale for a gr8t holiday event - we will be indoors so don't worry about inclement weather!
Nothing will be left out! The time-honored raffle, a great "pot-luck" feast, an opportunity to get some critical early holiday shopping done at the merchandise booths, and all the other traditional favorites will be there. Additionally, wine and beer will be available for a small fee to add to the festive cheer.
Please leave your dogs at home for this event. Our venue is a bit too small for a combined human/canine gathering. They will forgive you if you buy something nice for them while you're at the party!
For the potluck portion of the dinner, if your last name starts with letters A-M, please bring a salad and/or vegetables. If our last name starts with N-Z, please bring breads and/or desserts. Contact Joyce McHugh at 951-780-1394 so she can coordinate the potluck menu. GPA will provide turkey, ham, sodas and coffee.
