Happy FastFriend greyhounds in their new homes! If you would like to have your happy tail on this page, please send a picture and information to Shannon.

Andy
Loved by Shannon Gasparac
Andy came to live with us in July with his best friend Amos. Amos is the dignified "mature" dog and Andy, as you can see, is the goofball...right down to his crazy eyebrow scar. :) Andy is a smiler by nature...we should have figured he would make us smile a lot, too! He is always doing something to make us laugh...tripping, slipping, growling in his sleep (he's also the best at passing lethal doggie bombs...P U!). We can't imagine what we'd ever do without crazy greyhounds in our lives! Thanks, FastFriends, for making us a complete family. We adore our 45 mph couch potatoes!

Linus and Mary
Loved by Ashley & Dave Copp
Linus (formerly Tucson, 3 years old, AZ track), adopted February 2009 and Marty (formerly Pirotzki, 4 years old, Caliente), adopted February 2010 have become best friends and love romping together on walks and at the park. They both get along well with the cats too!
The second picture was taken at an after wedding photography shoot when we got married this past May. Neither dog is a fan of getting too dirty, let alone actually laying on the dirt (much prefer a couch). As soon as I started to change out of the huge wedding dress (I had an outfit under my dress), Marty seized the moment to get off the dirt. Then Linus joined him & we got this awesome picture :)
Thank you so much for bringing these wonderful dogs into our lives! We love watching them grow and learn every day!

Carson (pictured with his new whippet sister, Maisie)
Loved by Danielle Weir
A few months ago, my beloved boy whippet, Kenny Blue, passed away prematurely from congestive heart failure. Since then, my girl whippet, Maisie, seemed a little lonely and I felt like there was a big hole in my life. After reading about Fast Friends, I thought that I could provide a wonderful home for a greyhound in need, but I missed Kenny terribly and wasn't sure that I could get attached to another dog the way I was attached to Kenny (and Maisie). After giving it a lot of thought, I decided to focus less on the loss of Kenny and more on how I could provide a loving and safe home to another dog. So...along came my precious Carson.
Carson came home to me and Maisie, his 7 year old whippet sister, just over a week ago (August 7, 2010). He is a timid boy, and everything about city life spooks him, but he has already come a long way in only one week. He is just the sweetest guy and gives me the best hugs!! He and Maisie are starting to warm up to each other and Maisie loves to bark at Carson when he's tearing apart a squeaky toy. I am so grateful to Fast Friends for allowing me the privilege of adopting such a wonderful companion. He has brought peace, comfort and laughter into my life.

Lilly (pictured here sharing a bed with Lady; Sophie

Loved by Jim and Kathleen Stemler
Lilly seems very adapted to her new home and routines. We are really big on routines with our animals; as most know, animals love that and learn to expect. It reinforces us humans and them! We all love it!
