Foster homes for broken dogs

Remarkable people needed for remarkable dogs.

We have been seeing a marked increase in the number of dogs coming off the track with hock, wrist and muscle injuries. These are truly animals with very limited options. When FastFriends receives these dogs they are medically treated but require rest and recuperation in their healing process. We are in dire need of foster homes willing to provide this loving environment.

These dogs will be restricted to a crate to limit movement. The dogs have been crated at the track and normally transition nicely to a crate environment. They will need to be leash walked 3 to 4 times per day.

Their medical care will include a weekly trip to Southern California Veterinary Hospital in Irvine. The foster family can make appointments for whatever time is convenient. All medical expenses are paid by FastFriends. If you would be interested in fostering but are unable to provide this transportation please let us know and we will see if there is anyone able to help with this aspect of the care.

Won’t you consider fostering a special needs dog? You will be fully paid in greyhound love and appreciation.
