Clean, happy hounds for a good cause!

We take appointments for 10am to 3pm.

Walk-ins will only be accommodated between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.

We are so thankful for all the amazing volunteers who come together to make this happen!

Dog Wash Details:

For just $25, bring your dogs for a clean, fun filled day and a romp in the corral. Enjoy snacks, lunch and beverages while your dogs get bathed, toenails clipped, ears cleaned and a general pampering!

Greyhound merchandise is sometimes available.

The event is held at the home of Joyce McRorie, 1210 N. Cypress St., La Habra Heights, CA 90631. Be aware that there is NO PARKING on the streets of La Habra Heights. Park south of the fork in the road (at Cypress & Mayapan).  Directions to the location are available by clicking here.

Annual Summer Picnic

The 2024 FastFriends Annual Picnic will be Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm!  

Where is it?

At The Park in La Habra Heights (on Hacienda Blvd.)

This location is referred to as Hacienda Park on Google Maps and offers a wonderful venue for the event – acres of grass, trees, shade, sun, real restrooms (not porta-potties!) and lots of free parking.

Here are just a few of the great things planned for this year's picnic

Bid on items in the auction and help support our group

•  A fun day of activities for you, your family & your dog(s) to enjoy

•  Contests and games include: Smallest Greyhound, Longest tail, musical chairs, & hot dog bobbing.

• Enter the Costume Contest, bring a costume for your greyhound (and you, if you want!) and enter the costume contest.

•  Blessing of the hounds. Sign up for the blessing by filling out the form at bottom of the page. 

•  Wonderful food including pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, vegi-burgers, hot dogs, roasted corn, salads and dessert.

•  Lots of time to talk to other greyhound lovers - all day long

•  Raffles, prize drawings, & auctions - it could be your lucky day

•  Meet the foster dogs looking for their forever homes.one might be yours

•  Join in the "roooooo-ing" event (canines & humans both can participate!)

HELP! 

To make the picnic a huge success, WE ESPECIALLY NEED SALAD DONATIONS. If time is tight, let your local deli or Costco do the work! (No green salads, please - they tend to wilt.) If you can’t bring a salad then bring a dessert. All donations, large, small, homemade or purchased, will be appreciated! FastFriends supplies serving spoons. A special raffle for a doggie gift basket will be held for salad or dessert donors.

oin us to celebrate another successful year together! All of the traditional festivities will be a part of the evening. The annual auctions, raffle, a great "pot luck" feast, and of course the opportunity to get your early holiday shopping done at our merchandise and jewelry booths! Wine and beer will be available for a small donation to add to the holiday cheer. The party is free, just bring auction bucks to get some awesome greyhound items!
